Why I Do What I Do
Roberta Dunn is a parent of three amazing men and lives in Folsom, California, with her husband. She has been active in the disability community as an advocate and leader since the birth of her twins nearly 30 years ago. Former executive director of FACT Oregon, an organization offering family support that is “by families for families,” she is excited to join the NorthStar team ensuring adults have the support needed to pursue their own north star. Sharing insights and challenging perceptions of disability, Roberta is a natural storyteller and has shared nationally, regionally, locally…and across the coffee table with thousands of parents, professionals and individuals experiencing disability.
